Caribbean LVS Z is  by the Zangersheide stallion Cobra who carries the bloodlines of Carthago Z, Landgraf I and Cor De La Breyre. Caribbean LVS Z is a full brother to the stallion Cobana LVS Z.

Carribbean's dam Caretina Z, is by the famous stallion Caretano Z, who died as a 7 year old just after making his International debut with spectular jumping in the World Cup in Gothernburg. . He had just won the 7 year old Championship with rider Jos Lansink in the Zangersheide World Championships. Caretina's full sister Morika has produced three approved sons, Quinnus I Quinnus II and Quinnus III.

In breeding Caretano has proved himself a successful sport sire, with numerous progeny jumping at top International level, such as Cartoon Z, Cierana Z, and Carlaya Z. The grand dam Isabella, is by the legendary Sire Grannus. His offspring have eanred lover 5 milion pounds in the sport and he has over 60 fully approved sons.

The great grand dam Monie, is by the Hannoverian Sire Weltmeister. She has produced two 1.60m level horses, Liza Minelli, and Albatros and another son cometing at 1.50 level called Air force One (by Argentinus).

Carribbean LVS Z is registered with Zangersheide since birth, as his dam Caretina Z, is a Zangersheide mare, and his sire Cobra is fully approved with Zangersheide studbook.
