The Stud Farm has been expanded and now can offer state of the art facilities which include; the AI Centre, 40 stables, stud railed stallion paddocks, stud railed mare paddocks, large roofed horse walker, large indoor arena (30m x 50m), all weather floodlit sand arena (25m x 50m), grass arenas and a 5 furlong all weather gallop. All our stallions are exercised daily and turned out in the paddocks regularly, therefore making the stallions very centent with their daily schedule. Lissava Stud is pleased to offer the Sport Horse Breeders of Ireland an opportunity to use top quality stallions, with both Irish and Continental bloodlines that are widely known all over the world. Anne Marie and Joe are both very involved in the show jumping sport. Joe very well known on the showjumping circuit, with wins and placings from 4 year old Championships to Grand Prix Finals. Their dedication and passion for breeding showjumpers is proven in their own stringent breeding programme, and they want to see you having success with your breeding programme too, so remember, your foal is their goal!

Lissava Stud is a professionally run family business situated in the picturesque location of south county Tipperary, Ireland. It is surrounded by the Galtee Mountains and forestry, sheltering 150 acres of top quality land, in the heart of the Golden Vale. The Stud is owned and managed by Anne Marie and Joe Owens, and Anne Marie's mother, Helen. Through dedication and hard work, it has developed into one of the largest Sport Horse Stud Farms in Ireland, with an excellent reputation with our clients.
