1. Owners must accept that while their mare(s) and foals are at the stud, it is at their risk. While every care is taken, Lissava Stud and their associates will not be held responsible for any accident, injury, illness or disease to people, mare and foals, transportation or otherwise.
2. It is important that you present your mare to the stud healthy & in good condition to ensure maximum fertility. It is advised that your mare be vaccinated for flu/tet & wormed prior to travel to the stud.
3. Please remember to remove hind shoes before bringing your mare to stud.
4. The Stud reserves the right to have veterinary attention to any mares and/or foals if they deem necessary, at the owners expense.
5. It is stud policy to scan all mares.
6. The mare owner must collect his mare from the stud when advised to do so, and pay his account up to date before departure. An agent collecting a mare on behalf of the owner will only be allowed to do so if the accounts are already paid.
7. When collecting fresh semen, it must be booked in with Lissava Stud and paid for in advance prior to collection.
8. The Stud Gates are locked from 8pm at night. They re open at 7am in the morning. Please contacct the stud if you need to deliver or collect a mare after hours.
9.
