Clinton St (pronounced Clinton Street) is by the famous Sire Clinton. was one of the "eye-catchers" at the stallion show in Oud-Heverlee in Belgium in 1996. Clinton combines superior conformation, with excellent movements and superb jumping ability. His sire Corrado won several World Cup Qualifiers with Franke Sloothaak and was the stallion that won the most prize money as an approved stallion. Corrado has around ten approved stallions such as Coriano, Corofino, Calmaro, Contago, Corraldo. Clinton's dam Urte performed at national level with her owner, however, Clinton's grand dam Olympia, is more famous. Olympia jumped successfully at international level and won around DM 50.000,-- with Karsten Huck and Dirk Schröder. Clinton became 3rd in the individual ranking of the Olympics in Athens with Dirk Demeersman .Clinton was second in the prestigious Grand Prix of Aachen in 2005. Clinton¹s offspring start to jump really well internationally, like Via Vola ridden by Tina Lund, Cornet Oblensky ridden by Marco Kutscher and Special with Philippe Roger.
Clinton St’s dam Witgrafin is by the famous sire Concorde who comes from very strong jumping lines on both sides. Sire of this stallion is the impressive dominant breeding stallion Voltaire, who via his sire Furioso II and Gotthard is bred to perform. Voltaire is the number 2 in the World Breeding Rankings for Showjumping Sires in 1996. Voltaire through the performances of his offspring stands very high in both the dressage and jumping indexes. Due to his high ranking position, Voltaire was given the 'keur' and 'preferen' predicates at a very early age. Concorde's dam, Flyer, is by the legendary Marco Polo, one of the most influential Dutch stallions in breeding and jumping. Concorde was himself an international jumper with Jos Lansink. The last three years Concorde was the sire with the most offspring at the World Breeding Championships for young horses. The Œpreferent¹ Concorde has proved himself to be an absolute top sire of international sport horses. At the World Cup final at Las Vegas had 4 offspring in the finals!
Witgrafin’s dam is by the legendary Sire Landgraf I and then relates back to Calando I and then Ladykiller. Her pedigree is now a rare find. She comes from a very famous mother line, Holstein stammline 579. Her family line has produced numerous 1.60m level showjumpers such as; Casmir (1.60m) who is a half brother to Witgrafin, Camparado B (1.60m), Quintero (1.60m) and approved stallion sons such as; Contra A (by Contender), Capital ( by Calato), Casano ( by Caretino), Quintero (Quantum) and many more.
Clinton St combines some of the best performance bloodlines in the world, and is one of only a few progeny by Clinton in Ireland today.
