| Eurocommerce Pittsburg is a very exciting prospect to land on Irish soil. He has a dream pedigree: the legendary Heartbreaker is his sire, and behind the dam, we find one of the most influential stallions known to Dutch breeding: Concorde. HEARTBREAKER is by NIMMERDOR who was campaigned on the International show jumping circuit by Albert Voorn and Bert Romp. As a six year old Heartbreaker was 5th in the World Championship for young horses at Lanaken. He then went on to perform very successfully under the rider Peter Geerink. His sport career included a winning in Volvo in Wierden, the title of the “Best Stallion” in Zwolle Stallion Show, Holland, and a 3rd place in the Geesteren, Hamburg and Falsterbo Grand Prix 1.60m level. Heartbreaker is now awarded 'Keur Preferent' one the most prestigious awards for a stallion today.
The eldest offspring of HEARTBREAKER are presently winners at Grand Prix level such as; TOULON; ORLANDO (currently campaigned by Irish rider Darrragh Kerins); QUASIMODO VAN DE MOLENDREEF, QUARTZ MUSIC, QUINTIN, ROMONOV II and SKYBREAKER.

His Dam, LONTANA, is by Concorde who comes from very strong jumping lines on both sides. Sire of this stallion, who in jumping circles is known as Olympic Concorde, is the impressive dominant breeding stallion Voltaire, who via his sire Furioso II and Gotthard is bred to perform. The preferent Concorde has proved himself to be an absolute top sire of international sporthorses. His offspring Audi¹s Jikke, Kathja, Conquest II, Larino, Viktor and Isabella proved themselves at the very top at Grand Prix level (1.60 m.) and World Cup jumping. In the Grand Prix of Rotterdam 3 from the top 8, had Concorde to thank as their sire. At the World Cup final at Las Vegas had 4 offspring in the finals! Concorde was the youngest stallion ever to be awarded Œpreferent¹, due to his endless list of national and international children.. Concorde was elected ³Horse of the Year² in 2004 and is the highest ranked KWPN stallion in the top ten of the WBFSH!!
Pittsburg, has huge talent. He competed up through the levels with Eurocommerce rider, Gerco Schroder. He competed at 1.60 level with Schroder over the past few seasons. He was placed in Grand Prixs at Bremen CSI****, Maastricht CSI *** in 2005 and at Valkenswaard CSI***** , CSIO Barcelona, Hannover German Classic in 2006 to name but a few.

He possesses huge scope, extremely careful and a winning spirit. He has arrived in Ireland to start his stud career and we are fortunate to have been given the honour of standing such a highly regarded stallion at Lissava Stud.
