*Tadmus won the Grand Prix Zwolle on Saturday 16th February & Awarded 'Best Stallion of the Show'

TADMUS is a son of the showjumping progenitor CALVADOS (URIEL). CALVADOS jumped internationally under Peter Geerink. His Dam LADY QUEEN is by CONCORDE, who is yet another stallion, which jumped at Grand-Prix level under Jos Lansink and, amongst his other successes, was second in the Dutch Championships. Additionally this jumping cannon comes out of one of the very best damlines in Holland. Grand-dam FIRST LADY produced the ‘Z’ showjumper KICKYQUEEN (by VOLTAIRE), ‘Z1’ dressage horse MADNESS (by VOLTAIRE), ‘ZZ’ showjumper OLYMPIC QUEEN (by DARCO) and the national showjumper NIRVANA (by CONCORDE). NIRVANA of Annet Willems is a full brother of LADY QUEEN! Great grand-dam WIETEKE produced the ‘ZZ’ showjumper IMPOSANT (by WISCONSIN), the ‘Z’ showjumpers LACOSTA (by DAMIRO) and MEDOC (by QUATTRO); she is also the grand-dam of the national showjumper KALYPSO (by PURIOSO).

This very same damline has also produced the international showjumpers, OLYMPIC SURPRISE, BELLADONNA, TOPSI, FEBROKO as well as the approved stud stallions KROONGRAAF (KWPN) and JUSTBOY (Hungary). In the third generation we find the stallion WISCONSIN (by NIMMERDOR) followed by the famous thoroughbred CADMUS xx. The KWPN inspection committee described TADMUS as a stallion who possesses tremendous scope and jumps carefully. TADMUS is a stallion with a fantastic pedigree coupled together with superb jumping power. When we look at the input of blood in TADMUS we strike a combination of three top class showjumping families, the damlines of GOLDROSE, FLYER and RIANNE cannot be equalled. For breeders of showjumpers all the elements required for the breeding of performance horses for the top of the sport are insured and established in one gene packet. From type TADMUS is a stallion, which will give important fundamental characteristics through to a blood type mare. TADMUS first foals are very nice tall foals with good movements.

In 2004 TADMUS jumped well in the KWPN stallion competition with Eddie Brinkman. In 2005 TADMUS competed on the Irish show jumping circuit with Lissava Stud owner Joe Owens, qualifying for the 5 year old Millstreet Lee Strand Centrepoint Championship and the 1.20m Millstreet Championship Final in which he was placed 6th. He was placed in numerous other classes including a 2nd in the Millstreet qualifier. He has won and placed throughout the winter show jumping season in The Netherlands with tremendous success at numerous stallion shows on the continent. He was 7th place over all in the 7 year olds at the World Breeding Championships 2007.

In 2006 he competed with continued success at the big stallion show at Zwolle in March ’06 and his big debut was at the stallion show in S’Hertogenbosch in which he was paced 3rd under rider Manuel Fernandez Saro. He is competing in Scotland for the winter season under Scottish rider Stuart Neads. He is now competing 7 year olds with tremenduous success. TADMUS' first progeny are now four year olds in Holland and are already showing super jumping potential.

This tremendous stallion boasts superb jumping power, scope and technique with a temperament that is truly unique.
